Harvest season starts in March, a citrus with a notably orange-like aroma and juicy flesh. Kiyomi were the first tangor to be grown in Japan, and are sometimes known as "kiyomi tangor." ("Tangor" is a portmanteau of "tangerine" and "orange.")
